A little while ago, I posted how Duke hasn't pooped in a week. I gave him apple juice and olive oil and baths everyday and still no poop. Today, when I took him out he had poop marks on his tail. I washed it off but I found no poop in his tank. He never went in the bath and there's no poop in his tank. It's very odd, I can't figure it out??? :?
someone please correct me if im wrong about this but im 98% sure i read somewhere on this forum that they can in fact pass urates without poop especially if they are real hydrated.
hope this helps
no mealworms are not appropriate for a 9 month old, id wait till hes at least hit adult hood.
continue with lukewarm baths just above his elbows and very very gently massage him underneath from his right armpit to his vent. continue putting just a couple of drops of olive oil on his greens and getting him to lick a bit of unsweetend applesauce from your finger, his nose or greens.
i would not feed him anything solid either stick to soft bodied insects for now.
with bathing everyday to him pooping everyday no i do not agree the older they get the longer they take to digest and the less he will need to go. all you will be doing is keeping him super hydrated by bathing everyday.
