first off, sorry for asking a question that i'm sure has been answered several times. i'm at work and the computer won't let me 'search'.
i currently feed my beardie 50-70 crickets a day. sometimes less, sometimes way more. i want to add some variety to his live diet. what worm can i feed him daily to replace one of the cricket feedings? do i feed the worm the same as a cricket (as many as he can eat in 15min.) i feed him 2-3 times a day. what kind of worm can i feed him as a treat, like once a week? what about husbandry for the worms? lastly, i saw a thread with people getting bad worms from mulberry, have they fixed the issue, or would you recommend going somewhere else? i live 10 miles away from them, and they offer local pick up.
my beardie is about 10 weeks old, and 8 in. head to tail tip.
hornworms are great!! so are waxworms (treats!!! and only treats!!) silkies and phoenix worms are also wonderful and mulberry farms is probably one of the best customer service around!!
Hornworms are great, I recently tried some myself. I have used silkworms in the past, but their fragility turned me off. Nothing like buying a large quantity of worms just to have 2/3 of them die because you exhaled in the next room.
Pheonix worms are also a good choice, but they are rather small. If you have anything other than a tiny baby, the price of pheonix worms will add up fast.
I have been to mulbarry farms in person, and they are really nice people. Top notch operation, on a scale I could only hope to achieve. If I need something other than roaches, they are my default suppliar.
