So I have now had my bearded dragon a week tomorrow. And i read that variety is important. His appetite is increasing, he ate about 10 crickets for his second meal. I am wondering which worms are best for such a youngin'. I also decided to get some crickets in bulk, I see that pheonix worms are good if I am correct. Was thinking about leaving the worms in the tank in morning with greens. In the afternoon removing worms and giving crickets as the last meal of the night. Does this sound good? Also, do i just leave a lot of worms in the tank? Any help is appreciated. Also best site suggestions would be a plus.
Phoenix worms are good. So are small silk worms. I'm not sure how big your beardie is; but butter worms are another good soft bodied worm. I haven't had a beardie in a few years and just got my new girl--a juvie--a few days ago. I currently have dubia roaches and super worms on hand. I hate crickets so they will never be here. :bleick: But I will be getting some butter worms and silk worms to have on hand and I like to rotate what I am using for a feeder.
I have put phoenix worms and small silk worms in with my salads before--they were in a bowl. It helped to entice my picky little eaters to try a bit of their greens even if they didn't really want to.
I hope this helps...or at least doesn't confuse you more!
I agree...I've been using Mulberry for over six years...my shipments always get to me on time, never any DOA..
always had good experiences.. only thing that I've noticed is they're prices are increasing a bit.. other than that
great feeders!
I put the phoenix worms in both of there salads also...some escapees but they don't last long.. lol
