UVB?

Can anyone tell me if the Zoo Med Repti Basking Spot Lamp gives off UVB?

No, it is just a heat lamp.

Thanks I will have to get a UVB lamp right away then. And should I keep this bulb and also get like a Zoo Med ReptiSun 10 UVB Bulb or should I just return the basking bulb?

That is up to you. Your dragon needs a heat bulb too. I use regular household bulbs for heat. I guess that would depend on how much you spent on the bulb.

Sometimes you have to change the wattage on the bulbs to get the best temps, so if it is cheaper to buy household bulbs, I would return that one.

thanks I returned it today. I am now using a 75 watt normal bulb for heat and a repti glo 10.0 UVB 26 watt bulb
