How do i place it? My basking decor is all the way in on the right side of the tank. The Arcadia Pro T5 12% UVB - 24 W is almost half the size of the tank. So basically half of the tank has uvb and the other half dont.

You can do that, or you can move it a little more centered, but remember they need to have a place to get out of the uvb if they want to also. Also try not to put it all the way against the back wall, pull it forward a little. If it's on top of the screen give your beardie something to climb on to get within 8 to 10 inches of it, if its under the screen 12 to 15 inches is ok. One more thing if you can have your basking overlap with the uvb so your dragon can decided what he wants.

Is there any chance you can send a picture of your tank so i can see how you did it?

All my uvb are inside, the 1st pic is a double habitat i let the uvb stick over the side so they can get heat and uvb, they have the option to go under the ledge to get out of both. The 2nd and 3rd pics are the same habitat she has a stand alone basking where she is setting, up on the ledge in the background is her uvb and a 2nd basking bulb. She also has the option of going under the ledge to cool off or get out of the light. My other habitats are set up similarly.

This is my tank and ive placed the uvb on 3 different places. One to the right, one a little bit to the left and one in the middle. Would the best place to put in be the picture in the middle? I have no idea about this and just wanna make sure my beardie is gonna have it good here. I was also thinking of putting something to block off an area in the tank to make it smaller. Sorry if asking so much.

The tank is not done by the way.

I would put it on the right hand side with the branch, i would also put the basking on the side.

For your screen it needs to be wide hole type then the UVB can sit on top w/ the basking decor directly under it 8-10 inches

I think the top of the tank is metal and glass on sides. Would it be better to place it inside the tank or should i still place it on top?

The top of the tank is glass? If so it absolutely has to go inside, glass blocks 100% of the uvb, rendering your uvb light useless.

Plastic also blocks 100%, even screen blocks a large portion of the uvb.

I use heavy zipties. I place the light on top of the screen to mock up where it would be placed and used a hobby knife to slice slits in the screen. Then i ran the zipties all the way around and through the slits, i zipped them together above the screen so the sharp edge it leaves when you trim off the excess wasn't inside with my beardie

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
