Recently bought a new UVB light 24” long Zoo Med Reptisun T5Ho high output terrarium hood for our baby bearded dragons enclosure. Do I place it over the screen or under and if under how would I attach it.

Is it a 5.0 or a 10.0 output, the 5.0 should be upgraded to 10.0, the 10.0 can be on the screen but the beardie needs to be able to get much closer to it if it is. Like 8 to 10 inches, if it's inside its 12 to 15 inches. The 5.0 inside for sure and probably 6 to 8 inches distance.

It’s 10.0 and he has a tree that goes up close to it if he wants to climb. It’s about 6 inches from the light if he’s on top.

distance is all correct from xp29-- I would recommend getting another piece of decor under the UVB - he wont be able to use that as he gets bigger --- hes small now but as he grows your going to want something better for him -
