UVB reflector- is it necessary?

Hi! Is a UVB reflector necessary? The reading is perfect without the reflector (i’ll insert a picture) but when I add it, it reads about 9-10. If the reflector is necessary I will cut out some of the top and put mesh there so I can place the UVB on top of the cage instead on the roof. I’ve been reading the reflector magnifies the UVB and I don’t need magnification, so in theory it should be okay? Please advise

No it's not. The goal is a proper UVI level, which you achieved.
