Hi!
My uvb bulbs are due to be changed this month and i am trying to figure out the best bulbs to get.
I have 4 beardies
Tank sizes:
One 4ft long by 2.5ft wide and 2.5ft tall.
One 4ft long by 2ft wide by 2ft tall
One 4ft long by 1.5ft wide by 2ft tall
And one 4ft long by 1ft wide by 1ft tall
Three tanks will be getting the zoomed T5ho reptisun 10.0 86cm 39w bulbs which is what they’ve currently got.I am unsure of what to do for the smaller tank,my MBD beardie honey lives in this tank and she doesn’t do well with change so I can’t upgrade her to bigger. She walks on her elbows and can’t straighten her front arms at all so she has a minimal set up,she has a thick slate rock that she will crawl up to sit against and bask besides this she has a Blanket and some small hamster soft pouches she lays against and props herself up.Since I got her a year ago she has had the same uvb as mentioned above and has been doing well with this but the more I read I worry the 10.0 uvb is too strong for her tank size. The distance between her and the uvb inside her tank is just under a foot,is this too close for a strong bulb? She’s been ok with it for a year but I don’t want to hurt her, would she be ok with the 5.0 instead? She has very severe MBD and doesn’t do well with change, she is unable to get climb or hold her body up off the ground to bask or get close to uvb.
Any suggestions would really help, thank you in advance!

You can use the 5.0 bulb for her but your distance should be 6-8 inches inside the tank and that bulb should be changed out every 5 months- the 10.0 bulb would work and having it placed directly over her at about 12 inches would be fine --- I would use the 10.0 bulb and have her on the floor of the tank if shes in the 4x1x1 tank -- this bulb would need changing every 10-11 months --- so either the Zoo Med 24" fixture or a Arcadia Pro T 5 12% bulb would work

No stay w/ the bigger one if she has the hood already- can she get out of the UVB w/ out having to hide from it? She needs to be able to sit in her tank w/ out hiding from it -- the stronger bulb 10.0 is going to be better for her w/ the MBD issues going
