The fixture is ok as long as there is a reflector in it the bulb is not --- you want a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 or a Arcadia 12% bulb also a T 5 --

Thanks! It would be a little expensive to buy that just for the fixture. If I buy the reptisun or Arcadia bulbs is it OK to use a fixture that they fit from Walmart or lowes or does it have to be a specific type of fixture?

You need a fixture w/ a reflector none of those will come w/ that -- I can post a link for a Sunblaster Nano Tech that is one of the recommended ones on here but you will need to get the bulb that I post for it -- or if you can afford $75 for a fixture from Pet Smart I can post that one - that has the bulb w/ it -- let me know I will post the links -

Yes link plz. The only one I found on Amazon that comes with a fixture is like $150.

Woo-hoo! I just ordered it and somehow the price dropped to 54.99 on petsmart.
