No worries let me know when you get and test it out I’m curious to see what your meter reads.

So I got the 6.2R meter and I tested all my lights. My merc vapor light was around 4.5 (high), the inside mounted t8 was 2.4, and all the t5 (brand new) were under 1.0. That is very disappointing. At this point I feel the merc vapor are actually stronger than the newer t5 bulbs.

Do you mean you got the 6.5? To get the UVI numbers you were saying you must be using the 6.5 not the 6.2?

It was a reptizoo fixture and t5 bulb-all new.

That's why the zoomed or the Arcadia brands are recommended. Other brands just aren't as good as they claim.

Can you post a pic so I can see what sort of fixture(s) you are working with?

They may not have a proper reflector in them.... thus resulting in the low readings.
