Hey so I got this beardie, 12-13 inches head to tail and I'm guessing he's 6 months. Will he last till Christmas for a long uvb bulb? Is this one ok? https://a.co/d/c3gikCS

I have seen the Carolina cages lighting but did not know the brand -- I would think it would be fine till Xmas but I would change that bulb out to a Reptisun 10.0 or a Arcadia 12% 24 watt T5 bulb -- are you using that fixture now? Or I guess I am not understanding what you mean by last till Xmas?

The fixture comes with a reptisun 10.0. Im using a coil uvb that's kinda strong but I want a tube. I'm asking if he'll be fine with the coil till xmas. I was told I'll get it. The fixture comes with the reptisun bulb and the stuff to hang it to the top of the mesh.

We usually recommend that you get rid of the coil right away- the provide inadequate uvb and will start to cause health issues- what is the hold up? Do you have the Carolina tank? Or did you just order it from them specifically? If so you can get a fixture different brand from somewhere else and I can post links for them if you need them

these will all be for 120 gallon tanks -- 24" fixtures are good for up to 120 gallon tanks

I have two of the original tanks and am very happy w/ them Zen has the black mat that fits the 4x2x2 tanks I recommend you get one of those mats - I also like the bamboo back and sides of the tank

Make sure you do your options etc on these tanks the last 3 I dont know of anyone getting one of these tanks so I cant give you any feedback on them
the only ones I have heard people getting are the ones from dubia roaches and zen - carolina cages are all glass hard to heat and very heavy and I dont like the way they have the UVB / basking bulbs set up

Ok, here. Also him in a 24 inch tank. He is a rescue which is why he’s in a small tank. Nothing can ship to me till Christmas. I cant wait to get him a 120 gall. I am buying him a lot of stuff don’t worry
