user image upload error?

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file /home/beardie/beardeddragon.org/useruploads/_processupload.php on line 85: imagecreatefromjpeg(): '/tmp/php03LgMu' is not a valid JPEG file



every time i try to upload a photo now i get this error message. anybody know what this is or how i can fix it?

I was able to successfully upload (via PC) a file just a few minutes ago.
The server could have had a hiccup lat night.
Could you try again?

I tried again this morning I was able to upload 1 picture but then the next got the same error message

Just going on the text in the errors, I'm guessing the upload script is having trouble reading the image file. Are you sure it's a valid image and is in jpeg/jpg format with the correct extension? Have you tried uploading different images?

Can you email me the image unmodified? [email protected].

Someone else was having issues. My guess is there's something odd about the image structure (header information and such) that the script doesn't know how to process. A work-around might be to resize it on your computer in some manner and then upload the resized image. Whatever saves the image might do it in a more recognized format.
