Used antibiotic cream with pain relief on my bearded dragon. Help

I was watching a video and it told me to put Neosporin on my bearded dragons tail rot unfortunately I use the one with pain relief and now my bearded dragon has one eye closed and it’s acting lethargic and won’t eat he was extremely healthy and had a great appetite before today please help with any recommendations

I don't know how severe the reaction can be, the most you can do now is soak him in warm water for a bit to try to get it off. I don't think it will happen but If he gets really ill a trip to an emergency vet might help but you'd likely need a vet that specializes in reptiles. Can you post pics of him ?

These are all from today, he seems to be feeling a little better. I’ve been giving him Activated charcoal with spring water through a syringe.

He looks great , BTW that isn't tail rot it's just a bit of shed . Very common and nor harmful at all.

He’s not right, and I know it’s that cream. He’s never got black beard ever. This is the first time.

Well yes his beard is a little dark but they get much darker than that for a variety of reasons. You said he's looking better than yesterday and I agreed. He looks great compared to an ill dragon. And no tail rot is good news, don't you think ?

Thanks your right, I was just concerned and watched a damn video on rot and got me all concerned. He is definitely sick, I’m hopeful he pulls through.

You did what you could for the possible poisoning, if he's looking better than yesterday he should pull through. Keep up the hydration and I think he'll be O.K
