Edited to add: They found a mass in his intestines at the vet today. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge and has come home
Taz was diagnosed with a URI concurrent to mouth rot on 6/27. We did a week of enro injections and he was really perking up. Yesterday he asked to go outside and I took him for about 20 minutes or so. He took a bad turn last night. He is black bearing and having obvious distress breathing. This morning I thought he had died. He had voided in the night, but he did crawl out of it. I couldn't see him breathing, but qas smart enough to wait. Gave him a luke warm bath to wash him off and he took a big breathe when his belly hit the water. He was much colder than he should have been for the room temp. Right now I see peaks of his orange color coming through the black, but his eyes are severely sunken. I called the emergency vet, he will be seeing his vet today
