I have had tiny for 5 years, she is my best friend she is my life. I woke up this morning and got her out like every other morning and she became drastically different within minutes. When she tried walking, she was tilting to her left side and lethargic, almost like dragging the rest of her body. I tried calling her vet but he's out of town. I have been doing tons of research and thought it was either lack of calcium or a neurological thing. I gave her a bunch of calcium ( as much as I safely could ) fed her emergency reptile food to boost her immune system, and she seemed to be doing better. When I get her out she is still leaning side ways and seems a bit off. Her UVB light is two weeks new, her temperatures I am not sure about, but they have always been right in the past and nothing has changed. Please anyone, if you know what could be going on, please help. If I had a vet right now, she would be there.
I am sorry to hear about Tiny, that is terrible.
It sounds neurological. Could she have had a stroke possibly? If it came on that quickly, a stroke comes to mind, or something toxic. Could she have ingested anything toxic that you can think of?
Which UVB are you using now, what type & brand?
Can you look inside of her mouth & see if her gums are pink or if they are pale like if she were anemic, etc?
Is her beard dark in color or normal color right now?
