Urgent heat lamp help!

Okay, so what is the best way to measure temperature fast? I have a heat gun but it seems to be a little inaccurate. My beardies basking spot seems cold (96 from temp gun,) he’s been pooping undigested food so i want to get him 150w bulb-
please recommend me some 150w heat lamps and good ways to measure temperature!!

Digital probe thermometer- most accurate - flukers basking --exo Terra intense-- or Arcadia halogen- check you pet stores but the most reasonable for flukers is Walmart but they haft to be ordered on line-- exo Terra intense are spendy -
