Hello,

How is she doing today, trying to sleep a bit more?
I did notice the uric acid levels were a bit elevated, did the vet mention anything about possible
gout? She may need to go on gout medication for awhile, to help get her uric acid levels down.
Decreasing her insects can help too, as well as some black or tart cherry juice extract for help with
the kidneys.
Keep us posted on her.

Hey there,

The vet did not mention anything about possible gout. We aren't feeding her as many bugs for sure. We'll have to see about getting some cherry juice. She's still lethargic but at least she came out today!

Yes, if you can find some black or tart cherry juice extract that would be a good idea to start her on it. I
think the levels should be a bit lower.
That's great she came out to bask some today. I hope she is feeling better soon. Maybe by feeding less
insects that will naturally lower the uric acid some for her.

Hello everyone!

We took Spyro back to the vet today and I'm pleased to say she's in the clear! She is getting much more active, pooping, and looking much more aware.
