I bought the guy’s set up and he has a long tube uvb light, but not long enough in my opinion so I’ve ordered a longer one. He also had a pretty crappy basking light which I’ve replaced it with an Arcadia D3 bulb. There is a temperature gauge in the enclosure, but I’ve ordered an infrared thermometer to test all areas. I’m trying my best.
Your uvb is how long ? Brand and bulb? Distance and placement are crucial for the rays- this will depend on your screen- The basking bulb is a Arcadia halogen? Please get 2 digital probe thermometers - they are the most accurate - IR guns are good but cannot read of the certain materials so it's best to have the probes- you also want to keep track of ambient temps as well

Not sure how long the current uvb bulb is, or the brand, but it’s only covering about a third of the enclosure. I’ve ordered an Arcadia D3 6-percent reptile lamp, 30 inch. The basking lamp bulb is Arcadia D3 UV basking lamp 100w, it’s a mercury vapor light. Thanks for the tip re the probes - I will purchase.

You don't want to cover the entire setup if he wants to escape from the light then he can't escape from the light I think the light is fine no need to buy a longer one because you want to buy a light that is long, but not too long that he can't escape from it in case he wants to be in a cooler area.

You need the 12% or 14% uvb, the 6% will likely not provide strong enough uvb. The Arcadia pro t5 12% desert is a great option.

I have questions about bubbles on our bearded dragons eye.

So he’s gotten bubbles on his eye. We wiped them off and it’s only been twice in the last few weeks. Should we be concerned? No coughing or congestion. He’s very hungry and sleeps well. He’s 8-9 month range. His humidity is 30-40 day time and as high as 50-55 at night to early morning.
Should we be concerned?
