Hey guys, so about 2 months ago, Bandit pooped in his cage and it got all over his tail. I gave him a average bath and didn't focus on cleaning it. So, now two months later, its still on him. I've tried cleaning him by bathing him then wipe him with tissues. It is still on him and won't go away. I'm worried that if I leave it on there for longer, it could cause fungus. What do I do? Any suggestions help. Thanks.
Hi there....I keep an old toothbrush for any dirty tails. Just let him soak for about 10 minutes, then stroke the tail going from the vent to the tip while he's in the water. Even if he swims away continue on as you can. It will come off pretty well that way.
True enough that it will come off with the next shed, but the dragon looks like an adult which may take months before that rolls around. Best to get the crud off ASAP.
