His habitat is up too and beyond all specs.. so I am not concerned there.. he is my fourth dragon.. however never had one so young. Today is day two of him being here. He ate a couple very small Syria's yesterday and a couple quarter inch crickets. Had two regular bowel movements. Today he is active and basking just showing no interest in food..I feed him in a twenty gallon tank that is setup just like his permanent home just without all the obstacles for his food to hide in and around.. is this normal for him not too want food day two like this. Thank you..
Appetite fluctuation is normal, but I don't have experience with one so young and imagine they are much more sensitive at a young age. Basking and energy is a good sign. I would just keep offering food and let him dictate based on his appetite and keep a close eye on his weight if possible. Others who have experience breeding and raising baby dragons may have more detailed advice for you.
