Ive heard summer brumating only happens to beardies under a year old if they were born early in the year.. Leo had to have been born in Jan or Feb.. I got him April 2nd, and he was about 8" long...
He still eats a bit, yesterday he didnt poop, is still gaining weight (240g from 229g) 2 weeks ago, drinks from a syringe.. but sleeps all night, and more than half the day.. hes up for about 3hr on average...otber than that, stuffed in a dark area sometimes awake and most times napping..
Do I need to do anything other than just continue to wake him, feed him give him water, and stuff him in his basking area at least once a day?
Also, hasnt shed in a bit..has been at about 17" for about a month...
How old is he, 6 or so months?
They "can" brumate at that age, but he is a bit small. Can you post pictures of him so we can see his physical condition?
What type of setup do you have, such as the type & brand of UVB lights, the temperatures & supplements schedule?
Does he seem apparently healthy?
During brumation, if they do not appear to want to bask or eat, you can try to encourage him a bit on a daily basis the best you can. Did you get a fecal done on him before he started slowing down to be sure that isn't the culprit? Is he maintaining or losing weight currently?
I covered all of your questions in my original post, except those regarding setup and lighting, and a fecal.
