Decided to try something new this Christmas for my two rescue boys Puff and Spike.
This year was Spike’s first Christmas with his own little tree and it was their first Christmas I’ve put a gift for each of them under their mini trees.
Ordered in some Kingworms (aka giant mealworms [Zophobas Morio]) and put a bunch in two seperate containers then waited til both dragons had fallen asleep on Christmas Eve night before putting a tub under their own trees for them to wake up in the morning to a gift from ’Scaly Claws’
Normally when they wake up in the morning they stay in their beds for at least an hour before getting up and moving around. This morning however the moment they were awake enough to see there was a present in their enclosures they were straight up out of bed and all but launching themselves down their rock ledges to get to their gift.
Managed to get their reactions in some photos and it’s safe to say I’ll definitely do this again and hopefully get some video.
Orange dragon with the tree that’s got silver baubles is Puff.
Wild type colored dragon with the gold decoration tree is Spike.
