so every Saturday i go to the motocross races ( for dirt bikes) and when i was last there someone had brought their bearded dragon.. well i have one hes around 7 to 8 months and hes almost 18 inches and he don't really like going outside but i would love to take him but we are there for around 10 hours. i was wondering what i am gonna do for his heating for so long
so if anyone can help me out i would be grateful
If he doesn't like to be outside he may be happier staying in his enclosure while you're gone. That said, what are the typical temperatures? If it's above 70 or so he should be fine. Just carry a duffel bag with some towels in it and perhaps some hand warmers that you can put under the towels (no direct contact) to heat up the duffel a bit if needed. If the temperatures get much below that, I wouldn't keep him outside for an extended period of time.

his temperatures get to 100. but hes only been out side for an hour a few weeks ago he got kinda scared but it was also really hot outside, so could i maybe get a plastic storage container and but a towel in it with the hand warmers, but at night here its getting pretty chilly. i would love to take him at least once but i want everything to be okay for him also
Are you taking him for his benefit or for yours ? It sounds like it would be uncomfortable for him and a hassle for you.....probably best to leave him home.
