hey everyone, i turned on Chase light and let him get warmed up(like an hour) before he eats, so when i dropped 2 crickets in his Viv he looked at them and then looked away. When I went to get another cricket and put it in front of him that's when he became interested and ate a couple from my hand. I'm thinking he's pretty spoiled but I also don't want him to stop eating and depend only on me hand feeding him. Any suggestions? My beardie is still a baby and i've had him for about a month, I believe he is like 5-5 1/2 inches.
I had the same problem with my girl Charlie.
What i did was just as she stuck her tongue out to launch herself at the cricket i droppedit and then she would be interested and scrabble around chasing the cricket.
Each time you feed your dragon move your hand farther away and eventually your dragon will get used to you just dropping the cricket in.
