his tail is so skinny, but I do feed him once or twice a day of Phoenix worm. I usually give 50-60 worms. And if in the afternoon the worms are all gone I'll put more in. He eats collard greens with freeze-dried fluckers crickets, he doesn't eat all of it but for his age I feel it's a lot since they don't eat veggies till about a year. he's about 6-8 months I'm assuming. He's 225g, and around 14inches. I've tried giving him wax worms for about two weeks to put weight on him and at first he loved them, then wouldn't touch them for some reason lol then went back to Phoenix worms. I'm going to try hornworms next.
I'm not using a screen to get better use of the uv, I have a mercury vapor bulb, 100w, a reptisun floresent tube, regular light bulb on the cool side, two hides, a waterfall dish(I read that the waterfall sound stimulates drinking instinct), 3 digital thermometers, 2 hygrometers, and a temp gun. Btw the hygrometers read between 35-41% with the waterfall. I use tile for the floor but I keep papertowels in the middle because he always poops there lol like he won't go anywhere else
Hi there.....he's not skinny at all but just about right. His appetite is good, and even if you DID want him to gain weight you wouldn't want to add too many fatty insects like waxworms. No need to switch his diet much, although live crix are better than dried. But he looks good, no need to worry.
You might keep in mind that the waterfall can potentially harbor bacteria if any type of insect were to crawl inside. How does he like it ?

Yeah I know live are better its just to give his salad some protein and make him want it more lol and the waterfall I clean out about once a week. He seems to love it, the only issue is that during his shed he likes to climb on it, so I put like this plastic storage container under it so water doesn't get everywhere. I've had for about a month or so and I've not once had bugs in it, Cross fingers lol when I do feed live crickets its in a separate container so definetly no live crickets will be in his enclosure.
