Gretchen is slowly getting ready to catch a few zzz's and was looking for some suggestions about feeding her. Last year before she went down into brumation in december she was a little sick before that with coccidia all was treated and she was sleep from january to april. This year shes in full health, has been extra lazy for the past few weeks (just lays on her hammock) and occasionally crawls onto her basking spot but that usually doesn't last long. She came out and hung on the couch yesterday with me for about 45 minutes and then wanted back in. So she hasn't touched veggies in probably 3 weeks but always has a bowl full. Her live feed shell take them whenever she wants (maybe 1 or 2 crickets) which i offer her some every few days. Hasn't pooped since Jan 16th (which is norm since shes not backing). Should i keep offering her live every now and then? Just keep thinking about what if she goes to bed like TODAY and hasn't pooped lol you think this brumation thing would get easier as the years go on but i always seem to think somethings up lol
That's what I do for Darwin - just leave a salad for her to dig into if she wants but she's not likely to want much. I'd occasionally offer some roaches but he didn't have much interest. She'll poop when she needs to but it may be much longer than normal - that seems to be OK from what I've seen.
Cooper Dragon always to the rescue lol I know shea fine but posting and talking with people about it always makes me feel so much better lol you're the best ??
