Dr. Wilson loves to roam around my room, climb and will stay in my hand a bit, run around and jump on plushies in my
room and when I put him back he tends to stay in my hand until I delicately « force him » down.

Thing is , taking him OUT to roam is a challenge everytime. I do the same routine, he will still always try to run away until I can get a good grip (not too firm) to take him out. Then he is white and seems relaxed and chill as can be.

Any tips to ease his way out, Ik it is not helping that we have a top opening viv..

pic for attention 😂

It sounds like you already have a good routine. :) With a top opening tank try to come in slowly from the side and lift him from underneath. You still have to grasp him with the other hand if he's a jumper.
But pretty soon this stage of him being feisty should be over and he won't mind your hand at all.

That's what I do, and I am very careful not to spook him ! :) Ok ty , I just put him back and he would not leave my hand so I know he kindof feel safe with me :)

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
