I wasn't sure what category I should post this under? So feel free to move it if necessary.
Since it is officially freezing outside and we will soon be expecting our first winter storm I've begun to question what I would do if I lost power?! It's no way my baby could tolerate such cold conditions for long.
I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations on any product that would produce a safe and effective amount of heat without needing to be plugged in? I would like to be prepared ahead of time just to be safe.
Thanks ahead of time for any comments
What about a standard reptile heatpad inside the animal carrier , all you need a 12vDC - AC converter to plug into the accessory / cigarette lighter sock. Even better control it's temperature using a simple inline thermostat.
Set the pad at 37-38 degCelsius and you'll have a toasty happy beardie who'll be very happy to stay put.
