Hello!
I’m a new beardie owner, a friend of my sister had this lovely 5 year old boy named Goji she no longer could care for and he fell into my hands a bit over two months ago. I took him to a reptile vet right away with a few concerns, but he got a clean bill of health minus being a bit underweight. However, he’s had this super tight skin on top of his head from the moment I got him and I just want to know if it’s just shed that’s taking forever, old shed, or something else? And if it’s shed related, what can I do to help other than baths?
It’s a little hard to tell in the images, but some of them are so tight that each scale kind of looks like they dip inwards in the center, and there seems to be a few similar scales along his body.
