but..I just bought a new UVB which is the repti-sun 10.0 and its the first time i've ever changed it. Its a flourescent long one so...this is embaressing...how do I take the old one out of the stupid fitting that my viv came with to put the new one in!? Please reply quick with suggestions because Murphy has lost his appetite and became quite inactive and i really want to get this new one in quick because i reckon thats the reason. Also its frustrating me. So. How do I change the light bulb?! X

Doesnt matter! Managed it with brute force, though i'm sure there must be a better way.

Usually you kind of twist/roll the tube, and then it slides right out. A little hard to describe, but it sounds like you got it all worked out!

Don't worry about it, they are somewhat hard to twist & roll out sometimes. It may have just gotten stuck, perhaps. So you got it all out & changed then?
