Got a baby beardie about 4 days ago, shop dude said he was 10 weeks old, set up looked fine, everything done to what I think it should be.
Basking spot temperature is around 104f, and the colder side around 84. Its around 4ft by 2 by 2. Pretty bare atm but I'll add more later. He's eating well and everything, just making sure if everythings all good. The bulbs 150 watts, and the uvb is a arcadia 12percent tube. He does seem to laze around his basking spot a lot, dunno if that's an issue or not, though is active.
Here's an image of it.
Perfectly normal--he's just basking. His moving around that spot is just self-regulating; sometimes they like it hotter, sometimes maybe less hot. He'll probably spend most of his time doing that, punctuated by periods of activity.
