Its not perfect, I am not a builder or seamstress but my Emily loves her new bed, since people are showing off their beardies. I made this canopy bed for Emily and I think she loves it. She sleeps in it every night and lays on it once in a while in the daytime to get away from the heat of basking. Look how content she is!
Sometimes I wonder about him. Lol. The positions he basks in, are interesting.
Our perspective of his tank. I had to peel away some of his background so he wouldn't fall off his stick trying to watch us. Behind the glare of the light, is him glaring at me. (He's up top)
Its been a while since my last post. SouthPaw is doing well. He's about 13" from nose to nub. At approximately 11-12 months, I gather he's going to be a beast!! He just finished a body shed + one leg. Still sheds in sections.
Ive discovered he liked to be hand fed his greens. I've created a monster!! Lol. He eats them on his own still, but loves hand feeding. He's very gentle too.
I've had to put another "hide" in his tank, mostly to stop his hammock from falling. Stupid suction cups. Even with clean glass+drop of water, they would fall. I got command hooks but haven't put them in yet. Go figure the hammock hasn't fallen since I put the box under it! But he's decided he likes the box some nights for sleeping in.
Here's some more pics from the last month.
Good one of his eye color. (Before I put the box in)
Just waking up. A little cranky.
Sleeping in his new box, with his stuffed monkey and bunny.
And a link to a video of him being hand fed. Sorry for the shaking, was trying to watch my fingers and record at the same time.
Eating, then stopping to poo, on his hammockhttp://youtu.be/3tuPLogJEaw
