They are growing ...

It's been awhile since I let Rocky and Ruby splurge on superworms 2x a week. We'll, it must be the season and a push from the worms because shed is everywhere.
I thought Ruby just finished but his beard is peeling like a banana.
Rocky is so moody. He wouldnt give me a hug and when I tried to rub the calcium near his eye his spit on me. Okay he would've if he could've...
He seriously ignored me for the rest of the day.
Let's see what this day brings.

Shedding can definitely make them moody. Sinatra is getting worse about it as he is getting older.

Oh I whole heartily believe pets pick up on their keepers emotions. Even back when we had ferrets (a group of ferrets are called a business of ferrets and for good reason) when something bad happened, they all hung close to us. They would get up and touch our faces with their nose. Beardies sense it also I think.
