This is great news. I thought long and hard about which smiley to put  or (y) lol
We need more options in the like button menu 😋
One thing is for sure, this little girl is a fighter. She wants to live and isn't fighting me on her care. She's still weak in her legs, but she climbs her decor and trys to get down and explore. It's touching to see how hard she trys 🥰🙂

I'm so happy for her! Have you weighed her? She may have started to gain weight already. :D

I actually haven't (for selfish reasons) I was so angry at her condition that I would throttle whoever did that to her. Seeing a very low weight would have had me seeing red. Im going to weigh her this weekend and start tracking it though.

Her spine looks normal today.
I'm still going to assume mbd and treat her as if she has it. At least for a while, just in case. I mixed a tad more calcium than I'd normally use into a dropper full of baby food this morning. I got the entire amount in her. I also bought a new uvb bulb, but I checked the old one and it was a little to strong at it's current height so I adjusted it and didn't change it. I'll continue to monitor it and switch it out at the first sign of dropping off in strength.

I think @AHBD right, she could have had tummy discomfort due to digestive problems. And she was comfortable in this position. I really hope that the reason is in the tummy.

I think the leaner beardies do twist their spines sometimes. Ir maybe we just see it as more noticable than with the pudgier ones. Kai twists like this too (and he hasnt pooped in 5 days or so so he has a bellyful that hangs down unless hes pancaked). He has a shape a lot like Apricot.

Thank you guys for the support and encouragement 🙂
She has improved so much in just a week already. The advice and support you guys have given is invaluable. To be honest you all have been a bigger a part of her improvement than I have. (I just feed her) The advice has been spot on, and you've also maybe me aware of stuff I hadn't considered. You also have made me aware if some stuff I didn't even know that I didn't know 🙃 (There has been a ton of fantastic advice behind the scene in one on one chat also. Some amazing research with a wealth of knowledge has been made available to me, and I'm so grateful for it 🙂)
For her part Apricot has been amazing also. The fight in this little creature is phenomenal. The appreciation she shows is endearing to. She clings to me like she is afraid I'll somehow dissappear. She is ok with Christina but she visibly perks up anytime I'm in the room. She puts on a poutty show like you wouldn't believe when I put her back in her habitat.
Anyone that says reptiles are base and don't understand are just willfully oblivious to just how much they understand care and love and will respond to and return it.

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
