The day before yesterday someone brought a box into the same store that C.J. came from. They bolted back out the door. There was a very emaciated beardie inside.
When I went in yesterday she was shown to me. They had tried to give her insects. I told them not to and that she is severely dehydrated and insects could kill her. I had them get me a syringe and water. I managed to get about a syringe and a half of water into her. She was absolutely willing to drink. After the water she climbed under my neck and snuggled up to me. I instructed them
hydration (very carefully) every day and greens only or baby food veggies. Then after she was
hydrated and eating that they could start slowly introducing inscets. I told them I'd drop off some critical care today.
When I came home Christina saw immediately that I was upset and asked why. I told her all about what just happened and to my surprise she said if I wanted to try to save her that she's on board. I was very shocked to be honest. It was just Wednesday that we lost C.J. Christina took that really hard. I asked her if she was sure.
She said it had occurred to her that even though we couldn't save C.J that at least we gave her a home, love, and a name. And that if I was willing to endure the hurt of loosing the ones we can't save that she would support me in it.
We went today and brought her home. To say she is shabby is to say water is wet. She is pitiful.
BUTTT she drink some pedolyte for me, AND she ate some baby food butternut squash. I swear I can see a little improvement in her already.
I'm very hopeful I can save this one.
If she'll eat for me I feel like she has a fighting chance.
I know
hydration is the most important right now and that I have to go slow with food at first. It's gonna be hard to not let her eat as much as she wants but I will pace her. Please wish me well with her

And if anyone has advice feel free to offer it.
I don't have any idea her age, name, previous situation or anything. I just knew she needs help.
I'm going to start another thread for name suggestions feel free to offer names. Just like C.J. I don't know if I can save her or not, but she will have a home, love and a name!

As you can see she is also missing multiple toes, nails, tail and her nose is damaged. This poor girl looks like she has had a hard life.
