Is she doing regular greens at all since the one time? I know you said Christina gave her a couple silkworms, thats good. Any idea how old you think she is? She doesnt look to be a young baby from the pics but not adult either unless she is very stunted.
I think she ate part of her greens today infact 🙂 I'm cutting hers much smaller than my others guys.
I use a pizza roller to cut greens, I cut lengthwise first then I crosscut them. It's fast and it's easy to get the size I want. Sux when I hit my finger though lol.
Im guessing her to be at least a couple years old, maybe more. I doubt she ever had enough food to grow to her potential. I seriously doubt she'll get any bigger.

I cant tell if thats a silkworm in her poop undigested? The white? Might not be a bad idea to drop off a poop to the vet...you dont have to bring her herself if you want to wait a bit to treat her for parasites, but you would at least know what parasites and how much. Idk, maybe Tracie could weigh on that? Id grab a daily weight too, just for reference, even though she looks visibly heartier.
I think what your seeing is left over from what ever she scrounged before I got her. She is very dirty so I think she was on some kind of soil. Her first poop honestly looked like it had dirt in it. My head wants to explode every time I think about it 🤬🤬🤬

The hydration is good at least. I wouldn't expect the poo to look any better or firm up for quite awhile. She looks very alert in your pictures though, that's a great sign.

I'm giving her water with every feeding. She isn't slurping it up the way she did the first couple offerings but I'm getting around a half a drooper full in her every meal, plus the food itself has water and I'm adding a little at the top of the jar, just enough to thin it so I can use the dropper to feed her.
Her eyes are not sunken at all now, they are actually extremely bright and clear. She is extremely inquisitive also. She trys to get down and explore already. I let her down in the living room for a couple minutes to see if she could support herself on all fours and she did. I didn't let her roam though, I don't want her waisting energy yet.

She probably has a bit of a parasite issue going on too. It's much too early for thinking about that though. Hopefully when she gets her system back up to par it will help bring down the parasite numbers naturally.

That's what I'm hoping also. I think antibiotics right now would cause her to crash. It would judt be cruel.

When a beardie hasn't had food for a long time and then suddenly lots of hydration via soft foods + water this is usually what it will look like. She's doing very well, thanfully no signs of MBD and even if she has some parasites that may have no effect on her recovery because having some parasites is normal for most beardies.
I'd just continue to take everything slowly , give her lots of time to rest, slow on the hydration + feeding because her body is changing rapidly and there's no hurry. She looks very good , won't need a vet for quite a while . Vets often want want to deworm, give shots + bloodwork and she's not ready for that. Decline any vitamin or calcium shots, those are almost never needed when a beardie is making good progress on their own. It's good to see her doing so well under your care !

I Got some spinach, zucchini, and pea baby food. She gobbled it right up. I also got some pea baby food, but haven't tried her on it yet. She is also still drinking a little water at every feeding. I did give her just a tiny bit of calcium this morning also.
She has perked up considerably since coming home. She looks considerably better also.
This is what the poop looked like this evening.

I can't believe how much improvement there has been in just five days.
I think she looks so much better! It's great to see her progress.

Thank you 😊
I
kindda figured it would be a while before her poops look anything close to normal. Something I've noticed with her, is she doesn't try to gorge food. She'll eat but when she has had enough she starts squirming abd dodging it. I just follow her lead and don't try to force it.
Her legs are starting to feel back out some now to, she looks so much better. All in all I think she is going to be ok 🙃

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
