We have an adult beardie that we feed dubias. We’re putting our house up for sale next month, and I would rather not have a container of roaches hanging around, especially since we’ve occasionally had an escape. I also don’t want to have to worry about them during the move and if we have to stay in an apartment before we buy a new house. So for the next few months I would like to have worms to feed him. We’ve tried BSFL before, and didn’t really like them; they turned into flies too fast for us, and again I don’t want to explain flies to potential buyers. I don’t mind buying a more expensive worm as this will be temporary. Convenience is more important for now. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
I would try either silk worms or hornworms for an adult. Fortunately he won't need a bug meal more than once a week or so which will cut down on the amount you need. They are often sold in pods with food which is nice because it's all enclosed and has what they need to survive for a bit.
