Currently it is under one baskingspot 45 degrees celsius and under the other ( cooler area), 35 degrees celsius.
The surrounding is approximately 28 to 30 degrees celsius.
I also use an UV-B lamp, an UV-B 200 26 Watt.
The meassurements of the terrarium are:
190cm W x 80H x 60 D cm.
The spots are divided over the terrarium.
One baskinspot left ( cooler zone/area), UV-B in the middle and the warmer baskingspot is on the right side of the terrarium.
Are the temperatures good, or do i have to change something?
I'll appreciate it, if you all can give me answers of the temperatures in "degrees celsius".
Hi,
I like to keep the basking area between about 38-41 or so with an area around that slightly cooler. The gradient should go down to about 24-27 on the cool side during the day. I also suggest placing the UVB light on the basking side so the heat, white light, and UVB work together at the basking site.
