I purchased the temperature control monitor and it cuts the light on and off to regulate the temperature. Today was unusually hot- however, the light shuts off/on, is that problematic for Rocky? Not the heat but the flashing of the light-

It's hard on bulbs. I recommend adjusting the height or wattage of the buld to maintain the correct temp over turning them on and off

Thanks. this makes total sense. I think I have to raise it. I also have a dimmer- any thoughts on that?

Dimmers should be ok because the light stays on. Its the cooling and reheating the element in the bulb thats hard on them.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
