I live in South Carolina, USA and I use a water conditioner called Reptisafe to bathe Stryker in. No one ever told me to do this, but I used to have aquatic turtles and we used this to treat their water. I'm sure it's safe, but my question to y'all is: is it necessary-or should I use plain tap water. :study: Mind you, Stryker takes his bath is a large shallow storage container.
And, BTW, he gets only spring water in his cage, if he wants a drink.
I use tap water, and it seems completely fine to me. Where I'm from we have a high chlorine percentage in our water as well, and it hasn't hurt my dragon yet.

My Knobbins drinks from a dish every day, so I use bottled for her (Aquafina). When I give her baths, I usually use tap, but lately our water has gotten so nasty (I wouldn't even drink it), I'm thinking of treating it.
