Tail rot maybe

Hi I was wondering if this could be tailrot and if there is a way to identify it and if it is what would be the best course of action

At first I tought it could just be shed wich is why I ignored it for a while

Hello,

That looks like a normal darkening of the area, prior to a shed. How long has it looked
like this?
Tail rot usually only starts with an initial injury of some type or a bad shed, etc.

Like I said I kind of ignored it but I would say about a week, but just in case it was something like she’d I just gave him a quick bath
