I found out one of my female beardies has tailrot it's about the size of 1/4 of her tail starting at tip I've booked an appointment for Saturday with vet issue is its Monday will she be ok and is there thing I can do to help her before visit to prevent it from getting too bad?
She should be fine. The vet may opt to amputate, or they may see fit to just let it drop off on its own.
If you can get your hands on some chlorhexidine (blue-colored veterinary disinfectant, can usually be found at livestock supply stores), that will help. Dilute about a capful in a gallon of water and soak the tail for 10-15 minutes daily.
Hi there, can you post a few good, clear pics of her tail ? Sometimes what people and even vets think is tail rot is just a dark color and/or a small kink. Here's how to post pics if you like :

Or easier yet, just paint it on the tail or if the dragon is very tame + will sit in your hand you can submerge it's tail in a small jar while holding her.
But can you post pictures ? A dark tail is very common and usually not tail rot, it's something that is asked here a lot. You wouldn't want to spend money at a vet if people here can confirm that it's just a dark tail end.
It's hard to tell rn as yesterday after a bath when she got bright her tail was dark brown compared to her yellow tanish color I'll see if I have a better pic
No, that's not anything like tail rot. Good thing, you don't need a vet or any type of treatment. If you type in a search here of " dark tail" you'll see many beardies with dark tail ends, all perfectly normal. And I've raised many that had that as well. No worry there !
