Tail popping

When I gently squeeze my dragons tail, it makes a popping sound. It sounded and felt exactly like popping your knuckles or back. It doesn’t seem to hurt him, it actually kind of seems like he likes it. Have any of you experienced this? Is it bad for him to do this? Pic of my little man for attention

Not a lot of responses but at least one person reported a similar issue with no ill effects to the beardie. I hope it helps to put your mind at ease a little bit.

He’s is a double het genetic stripe. His mom is a paradox!!

I like pop my beardeys back and tail he loves it and it’s totally normal and safe it relaxes him and my vet said it’s the exact relief you get from popping your own back or knuckles never force it but just know it does no harm

I crack my beardie... when Tango was younger I noticed he wasn't moving his tail like Cash was so I tried to figure out how to help him, I switched his foods, increased his baths and vitamins, had him checked for rot and infection and he was in perfect health... after I while I wanted to see if cracking would help loosen his tail... he's now thriving and carrying his tail exactly as his brother Cash. He seems to be happy and we even make a day of it every Saturday He gets his nails trimmed, hot tub time (it's a warm foot bath), 2 hornworms and then I crack his tail and we enjoy a movie and salad together
