Tail amputation

So I have a rescue 14 year old beardie that will for sure need tail amputation so it's not my question but I am waiting the vet appt and wanting to know.HOW MUCH IS THE AVERAGE COST OF AMPTUATION?
WHAT WAS AFTERCARE AND TIME FRAME OF HEALING LIKE?
( I purely got this beardie to try and help with the tail and am not expecting a full pull through as she has made and is 14 but I don't want her to die of slow tail rot)

@ahbdi got her 2 days ago and waiting for appt with only reputable vet I have in my city but jsut preparing for the time frame mainly. Like I said I was told she's 14 so not expecting the happiest outcome but want to give her a chance.

I can see the darkness going up the tail so unfortunately it's still spreading more and more

I would put some unpasteurized raw honey to keep bacteria from it and wait until the vet appointment.

Like you said, she is gonna need tail amputation. But it also might fall off on its own. But you should get her on ASAP. She is probably suffering rn

It's starting to run up the tail. You should take her in maybe tomorrow if you don't want her to lose like her whole tail
