So I have a rescue 14 year old beardie that will for sure need tail amputation so it's not my question but I am waiting the vet appt and wanting to know.HOW MUCH IS THE AVERAGE COST OF AMPTUATION?
WHAT WAS AFTERCARE AND TIME FRAME OF HEALING LIKE?
( I purely got this beardie to try and help with the tail and am not expecting a full pull through as she has made and is 14 but I don't want her to die of slow tail rot)

It actually looks like it stops there, not running up the tail. It may need amped a little way past that obvious bad section but if she can endure the anesthesia she should heal O.K.
Her age may come in to play but time will tell.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
