Taco wearing a harness

Here is now finally a photo with him wearing the harness.
He wears it without problems. I regularly put it on since he somewhat fits into it. Trained him to accept it by starting with just laying it on his back, even when he was ways to small to fit into it.
The leash can be attached with a hook; I (not shown here) use a bright orange leash for small animals/ cats. (The harness came with a shorter, thick leash that can slightly stretch - also fine for certain situations, but the other leash works better.

Taco loves sitting with me on the balcony. He also has a branch there similar to the one in his enclosure.
Will make a photo of that, too - for now, only this indoor photo.

It seems that Taco doesn't mind having a harness on him. I'll be looking forward to seeing photos of Taco on the walk. It's a good idea to use hooks, but make sure it won't come off with a little force.

This holds secure! Won't come off easily, the hook and leash (and the harness) aren't flimsy.

I'll snap a photo next time we're on the balcony, for sure!

Taco really doesn't mind. I can touch him everywhere, and I trained him with first often touching his back and shoulders, then just laying the harness on his back without attaching it, then just putting the straps around without actually closing them, then closing them.
Then using it indoors for a while without leash, then with leash. An then finally on the balcony!
Generally, Taco is very calm.

I use it only on the balcony, so far, as this will secure him in case the birds scare him (we have here flocks (!) of vultures, seagulls and other large birds, and we're on the 13th floor).

It’s been a month since I’ve joined bd.org! It feels like it’s been longer than that, but I’m glad I’m here and apart of this lovely community!
I can feel her staring into my soul demanding food
She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
bro went to bed already, it’s 10:36 pm
Definitely going to be using this image if I ever catch a fence lizard again.
