Um....how in the hell-o-kitty did it pop out and the vet not notice? Lol, i cant believe that. Good to hear its out though one way or another (yeah bad pun). There should be a contest of whose beardy has the best object on an xray
We were able to bring Argenta home tonight! She is doing really well. She can't eat for 5 days though which kind of sucks because she is hungry hungry hungry hippo <-- my boyfriend told me to add hippo  She has all kinds of different medications that she will be taking for the next few weeks. She is going to be one angry beardie  luckily the vet was super cool and didn't charge us for the extra surgery!!!
Right now she is being kept in the 5.5 gallon half hex that usually has her Dubia roaches in it. She has her little wooden log and a paper towel in there and thats it  now she really can't eat anything naughty for a while. I wish she would stop running around in there though. I don't think it is a good idea to put her back in the 125g until her stitches come out. There are just so many things she can snag them on :?
One thing I wasn't so sure about in the post-op instructions was that she can't have water either for 5 days. It doesn't make any sense because she is receiving three different liquid medications and I would think that she would get dehydrated not drinking for that long :?
when I called they said that it was correct... I still don't feel comfortable with that though. We decided to just give her water. She looked like she was almost drowning herself in her dish she was so thirsty... I felt terrible when I saw that. She perked up a lot after she got some water
