I started feedng Silver superworms at 14 1/2 inches. I would give him a corresponding silkworm or hornworm to help the digestion. Also most mornings he gets some Phoenix worms to start. Now he is over 16 inches and I don't always follow up with the moist worm. He chews and crunches them right up. Not sure if the worms can really bite them in his mouth or bellly. That was my worry initially.... but everything seems fine. I get silks from Mulberry Farms and horns from Linda's Gone Buggie. My local pet store has nice supers for sale.
Dino has only had phoenix, wax & meal worms for worms up to this point. She does fine with digesting the mealies, so I think she'll be fine with the supers. I gave her 4 last night and OH BOY  did she gobble 'em up! Something new & different and apparently YUMMY! :laughing6: Our first beardie, Spike, would eat them by the boatload if I would let her! Those were her FAVORITE! I'll have to order some of the other worms online (hornworms...ewww & silks) to give her more variety! Thanks for all the suggestions and websites everyone! Dino thanks you too!
