Hey people, I am looking to buy some super worms off of the internet but my friend who loves my dragons too brought up a good point. If I were to order them online how many are going to survive the trip?
I live in Colorado and I would like to order from someone close by. I saw an add when I was browsing the forums, 1,000 feeders for 14 dollars. Has anyone done this before and what was their experience like?
ive ordered supers of online before from www.armstrongcrickets.com and all my supers came alive and well. it was fall when I got them, but they do pack them with heat packs and winter boxing when needed. make sure who ever you are ordering from offers heatpacks and winter boxing and you should be fine.
I'm in Canada and order online from Sask. Takes about 3 days to ship to my door and the Supers arrive just fine. The crickets on the other hand, there's usually a decent amount dead but what do you expect in the middle of winter; and they ARE crickets.
This is crazy, every site I go to the shipping and handling is more than the worms themselves!!! What is that crap?
I have 15 dollars PERIOD to order worms online.
WHAT DO I DO? PLEASE HELP!

That's how it is everywhere. You save the most when ordering a lot. My last order was 250 worms and 1k crickets. Cost me 70$ incl. shipping. Per store would have been 150$ for same order. If you only have 15$ then the pet store is your best bet.
Hi there,
I don't know about your area, but you could post an ad online for feeders. There's suprisingly lots of people who breed feeders as a business but don't advertise at all.
When I lived in North Bay, the few pet stores out there only sold crickets, and sometimes mealworms, but their prices were atrocious (5 dollars for 2 dozen crickets)
Anyway, I posted an ad on Kijiji, and had a local guy contact me. His prices were still higher than what you find online, but he brought them right to my door and 250 supers only cost me 20 bucks.
Just an idea, if you haven't looked into a local supply yet.
