My year and 4 month old beardie marty, has always been a good eater, always eating crickets, worms and his salad. I'm pretty sure he is going into shed, as his leg has started and he has been spending more time on the cool side of his tank. Whenever I give him salad now, he seems interested but will never actually eat it. I put a butterworm in it and he just picked it out. This has been going on for two days. He sill eats crickets, though. He also has been going poo less, which has been going on for weeks. Any help would be appreciated.
He is really really young - so a disinterest in salad isn't something to worry about, the babies/juvies ratio is about 80% protein 20% greens .... a rough average. but the fact that he was eating greens is pretty cool! Mine didn't start until about a year old. She DID however go through a VERY short lived time when she was younger where she would pick at greens before she shut them off completely.
I think you will go through the total frustrations of raising a baby and their weird behavior with eating and all that.
As long as he is going for the protein and eating good with his feeders, I wouldn't be worried unless his behavior starts to change a lot.
